Bihar is made up of 38 districts, which are further divided into 9 divisions for improved administrative management. A District Magistrate (DM) oversees each of these districts. The DM is assisted by a number of other administrative authorities in overseeing the state of law and order in the districts. In Bihar, every district is further subdivided into Community Development blocks and subdivisions.

Here, we have included details about every district in Bihar, including the administrative divisions to which they belong. View the full list of districts in the state of Bihar by clicking this link.
